Burrito Bison is a simple game for gummy bear lovers
As you may have guessed from the name, you're a bison (not a burrito, though). In the course of your day-to-day grocery shopping, you're abducted into a bag of gummy bears, and must now fend for yourself.
At the beginning of each round you launch yourself onto the marching gummy (gummi?) bears, while you're being watched by a huge crowd of even more gummy bears. Your goal is to keep bouncing on the bears and earn more and more money while you do it. Every time you hit a gummy bear, you lose some momentum. If you hit the floor, you basically lose all of it.
But don't give up just yet! You have an emergency thrust which you can use to gain some momentum and keep bouncing on those bears. This extra thrust gets refilled as you hit more bears.
There are also special gummy bears that give you extra thrust or extra money. The money comes in handy at the end of each round, when you can shop for cool stuff to make your bison even more effective against those gummy bears.
It's a fun and colorful game that kept my interest for quite some time, and almost sent me running to the closest store to get some gummy bears!

Firefox 4 rockets to 5% global usage share, IE9 wallows at 1.5%
Interestingly, we can see IE9 dipping between March 20 and 21, just before the 'Important' Windows Update rolled out. It's hard to say whether IE9 is only growing because of the installed-by-default Windows Update, but that small dip definitely sticks out -- did excitement peter out? Did people download IE9, try it out, and summarily uninstall it? Perhaps, given their close proximity, the stats show an attention shift from Microsoft to Mozilla?
Numbers-wise, if the bottom left corner of the graph shows 2.3 million downloads for IE9, we can guesstimate that that it has now been downloaded 5 million times. Firefox is clocking in at 37 million downloads after five days of public availability.
We wonder whether Microsoft knew its release schedule would coincide so closely with Firefox 4. Internet Explorer 9 -- a great browser by almost every metric -- was never going to do well against anything emanating from the maws of Mozilla. The main thing, though, is that Microsoft has now shown that it's serious when it comes to the Open Web. If Internet Explorer 10 is good, and 11 and 12, then we might finally see it compete with the zealous Mozillan horde.

HTC One X specs leak - 1.5GHz Tegra 3 and dual-shutter cam with dedicated image chip
We expect to see the HTC One X tomorrow in Barcelona, but if these leaked images from Greek site FullGSM are the real deal, we can discuss the specs today. And there's a lot to discuss! The leaked product sheet lists all sorts of goodies that HTC fans have been waiting for. The One X is expected to ship with HTC's version of Android 4.0, and the Tegra 3 4-PLUS-1 SoC is confirmed here as well. All the basics are covered, things like Bluetooth 3.0 and a full array of motion sensors, and we see that NFC is on-board and that the One X is said to be Google Wallet compatible. Maybe the most interesting thing is the new camera hardware. The 8MP shooter comes with a "smart" LED flash, a backside illuminated f2.0 aperture, a 28mm wide angle lens, a dedicated HTC Image chip and a dual shutter module to allow taking pictures while filming 1080p video. This one should take beautiful pictures in any lighting conditions. Here's the bullet-point highlights:
- 4.7-inch Super LCD2 at 720p resolution
- Gorilla Glass
- 1.5GHz 4-PLUS-1 Tegra 3 CPU
- 32GB storage
- 1GB RAM
- 1800mAh battery
- Wireless HDMI via HTC Media Link unit
- DLNA
- Pogo pins
- 8MP rear camera, 1.3MP front facing camera
- Beats audio
You can check out the full list of specs on the product sheet, and a handful of pictures after the break. Be sure to tune in tomorrow when see everything HTC has to say at Mobile World Congress.

PSX games now available in the Android Market, if you own an Xperia Play

There are five titles currently available, all priced at £3.99: Syphon Filter, MediEvil, Cool Boarders 2, Destruction Derby, and Jumping Flash. They don't have an American price yet, but that will surely change once the Xperia Play launches in the States.
Two important questions remain unanswered: How big are these games? The Market descriptions say the games are only 5MB, but that sounds incredibly unlikely -- and more importantly, will it be possible to 'spoof' the Xperia Play and download PSX games onto other Gingerbread-powered phones, like the Nexus S?
In other news, the PlayStation emulator PSX4droid was recently removed from the Android Market. This obviously has nothing to do with today's release of first-party PlayStation games.

Dropbox v2.1 now available in the Android Market, automatically upload photos and videos using WiFi
Just in case you skipped out on testing the recent experimental builds of Dropbox from their users forums, you can now head on over to the Android Market and grab the official release. As noted in the change log, they've addressed some bugs from the beta and added some new features as well:
- Allows you to automatically uploads photos and videos in the background using Wi-Fi or data plan
- Up to 3 GB of free space for uploading photos automatically (in 500 MB increments)
- Upload files of any size
- Various performance improvements & bug fixes
- We now store your Dropbox credentials in Android’s secure Account Manager. This means Dropbox can’t be installed on your SD Card and requires the “Your Accounts” permissions. These permissions only allows us to access accounts we create.
If you're a Dropbox user and haven't grabbed the latest release, now is a good time to do so and take advantage of that free space they're offering. Download link is past that for you all.
